5/30 - Overall Design:
I might like this if the code was anywhere close to correct. What are you, a copy and paste code layout designer? Bad code is like an std. People share code, and unknowingly add crap to their layouts. Ugh. I can't even make a proper analogy. It's THAT bad. Clearly, I'm going off on a little tangent, so don't get all offended. What it comes down to is that a lot of code works in all (up to date) web browsers. Some code only works in a few browsers. Every designer at one point or another finds a code that they really like; a cute little style that adds that ... je ne c'est pas to your layout. Whatever. Get over it. Some code, no matter how cute, is just before it's time. Put it on a back burner and stop making certain viewers cringe when they check out your diary. 'Kay. I'm done with my lecture.
15/20 - Functional:
Aside from the fact that your navigation font is teeny, everything is functional.
5/10 - Aesthetic:
Not really. It's kind of dull. A lot of effort for a not-very-impressive layout. I understand your motive for commiting this heinous designer crime, but that doesn't mean I condone your actions.
10/20 - Navigation:
Aside from the tiny font, everything works. However, for some reason which I cannot fathom, some of your links open in new windows, and others don't. I thought at first that links that went to locations that were not directly a part of your diary, (e.g. notes), opened in new windows but you proved me wrong. So it's just random as far as I can tell. Random, and annoying. Annoying is bad. Bad and wrong. Wrong and evil. I could go on.
10/10 - Originality:
Woot. Ten points for the original craptastic design. I'm snide, but you love me. Admit it. You feel the <3
0/10 - Browser Compatible:
Fuck no. No no no. I normally toss a few pity points here, but in your case, nizever.
Total: 45/100 Ouch. Verdict: get a new layout.
