30/30 - Overall Design:
At first glance, this design is awesome. I love the image, and the way you've arranged everything, especially the entry box. It's very very well done.
20/20 - Functional:
Though this layout is complex, you don't sacrifice function for fashion. Everything has a place, and it works very well here.
10/10 - Aesthetic:
I love this layout. Love it. The typewriter in grass is such a cool picture, and everything meshes so well with it. I like way the text box overlaps the image, and how you've placed links on top of it. It stops the image from being overbearing. Some people probably wouldn't like the white background behind your links, but it seems to fit with the typewriter image so well, I can't complain.
10/20 - Navigation:
Simple, easy, everything seems to work... except ... your links blend in with the background image, making it difficult to read them. Also, I can't find my link anywhere.
10/10 - Originality:
Very original. I haven't seen anything like this before. Well done.
10/10 - Browser Compatible:
As far as I can tell, this layout shows up beautifully across the board.
