30/30 - Overall Design:
My first impression, is, naturally a positive one. The layout looks very well put together, and I particularly like the diagonal corners to your tables. Very nice touch.
15/20 - Functional:
Everything is organized pretty well, but your navigation gives me a headache. Hey, I never said I wasn't simple. As such, I've never been a big fan of drop down links for a site with lots of extra stuff. Also, your archive has a completely alternate form of navigation as well -- some of it on the left of your text table, and some below it. My headache is turning into a migraine. :/
10/10 - Aesthetic:
It's a very clean and simple design -- tidy up your navigation and it will be gorgeous, in my opinion.
15/20 - Navigation:
Guestbooks are tricky, because you have to create complete links, instead of partial ones; e.g. http://yourlink.whatever.com/archive.html instead of archive.html. Most of the links in your guestbook are broken as a result. Just copy your diary url and go in and paste up those links. Very easy to fix. As I've already mentioned, your navigation is kind of all over the place. It's hard to figure out where I want to go, or test out what works. I did find my link pretty darn quick, though, so kudos for that.
10/10 - Originality:
I haven't seen a layout like this floating around. Well done.
