5/30 - Overall Design:
It looks awful in any browser. I hate links that jump around on mouse over. According to your source, instead of 'jumping around' they're supposed to 'blur.' Sometimes, I find myself equating little code extras like that to hideous lawn ornaments; They aren't necessary, they look shitty to most people, and they don't really serve a purpose. When you try something new with css, make sure it looks good to just about everyone, instead of just you. Beyond that, the text box is awful looking, and the navigation doesn't even show up in safari, which just about everything shows up in, and it looks like crap in I.E. Beyond that -- the picture. What is up with the picture? It's choppy, it's blurred, and then you have this text image that reads: "50 thousand tears i've cried..." Color me impressed. You're obviously deep and emotional. You probably regurgitate your food and cut yourself. Obviously, I have no idea if any of that is accurate or not, seeing as I know nothing about you and haven't bothered to read your diary to try and get an idea. This is just the impression your layout is leaving me with. Oh, you poor Emo Girl. Wait, isn't that redundant? Pardon me, I'm snotty today.
10/20 - Functional:
Half points. I hate the layout and the navigation works on alternate fridays every three months. However, the entry area is centered on the page, and it probably looks decent on your browser. It's a good effort, but a shoddy final product.
0/10 - Aesthetic:
Ouch. Hey, I like red, and I can dig black backgrounds. It just looks shitty, I'm sorry. Try a different image, and some different code and it'll look fine.
20/20 - Navigation:
It all works as far as I can tell.
10/10 - Originality:
I've never seen anything like it, I'll give you that.
0/10 - Browser Compatible:
I can't find a single browser that this looks good in. Oh, maybe it's just the layout. No, just kidding. It looks different in just about every single browser I view it in.
