10/30 - Overall Design:
The thing that bothers me about this, is that you clearly put a lot of effort into creating this layout, and yet it still looks thrown together. There's just too much going on, I think. You have the pretty blurred edges to the whole thing, then the fancy shmancy corner graphic that appears to be lifting to reveal something else, and then, you have this weird bunch of what looks like scribbled on links. It just looks... too busy and out of place. Plus, your entry text is tiny. I may be getting older, but not that old, girl; don't make me squint.
20/20 - Functional:
Yeah.. sure, why not. I mean, I can clearly see and find everything. I just don't like it that much.
5/10 - Aesthetic:
I mean, I have to give you props for putting so much damn effort into it. I feel bad having to tell you it's hideous. But that's exactly what it is; hideous.
20/20 - Navigation:
Oh yeah, it works. It works... in that weird scribble kind of way. Dude, what's UP with that? Did you just get a little kid to like mess around with MS paint to create your links? "here kid, scribble all over this page, and I will turn it into the navigation for my diary." I mean, what were you thinking?
10/10 - Originality:
Oh ho, no question.
5/10 - Browser Compatible:
One thing you have to be careful with when using CSS is making sure to define a color to for your background. Type "white" and everything will be fine and dandy, or just delete that specification all together. I'm pretty sure you didn't intend to have aqua as your background color for your entry text.
